Preview of Round 8 at Brands Hatch, Dunlop Endurance Championship, 12/13 November 2016

The season finale of the Dunlop Endurance Championship is almost upon us! We are really looking forward to this weekend at Brands Hatch. The circuit is a firm favourite of ours and after the remarkable events at Oulton Park, we are looking forward to another challenge. And a challenge it will certainly be as this final round will see 16 endurance teams race "into the night" as a result of daylight saving.

Night racing adds new layers of complexity to the team's preparation, the drivers' preparation, the car's preparation as well as factoring in the winter weather. So far, weather reports appear mixed for this weekend at Brands with sunshine, rain and cloud predicted. One thing's for sure, it's not going to be warm! Armed with a big kettle and fleecy hats, the INGSport team will be heading to Brands Hatch early on Friday morning for a day of testing and setting up the Z. Saturday is dedicated to "night familiarisation" whilst Sunday packs in both qualifying and the race. See below for the timetable of Britcar events as well as other racing championships taking place over the weekend. On Sunday 13th between 10.30am and 11.30am no racing engines will be allowed to run in mark of respect of Remberance Sunday.
